Abstract
When implementing internal quality control activities, special attention must be paid to managing the quality of care processes. To do this, it is necessary to create an internal quality control service in the structure of medical institutions, which in its work will be guided by standard assessments of the main processes of the medical organization. The materials of the retrospective analysis were citizens' appeals on various issues of the quality and safety of medical activities, the results of examinations of the quality of medical care conducted by medical insurance organizations, as well as the results of a sociological survey of patients receiving medical care in the hospital. Based on the proposed scheme, the internal control service for the quality and safety of medical activities interacts in its work both with the main structural divisions indicated in the diagram and with others (IT department, engineering and technical service, personnel department, economic planning department, analytical department, etc.), on a functional basis.
